Fiber Jewelry is a wonderful way to add flair to an outfit with a chunky piece - without adding heaviness. Wool and other fibers are SO light and easy to wear! The only weight in this necklace is from the glass and amethyst beads that are nestled between coils of fiber.
I created this couture piece by first spinning together soft, soft Superwash Merino wool in a thick and thin treatment. I then coiled the fiber around a fine cotton crochet thread and added purple and frosted-white moon-shaped glass beads, opalite, and amethyst beads as I went. This created a texture that is varied and interesting and will draw much attention to whatever you pair it with!
Length of this necklace is 78 inches around, which is a perfect length for doubling or tripling the strand for an even bulkier effect. I guarantee you will love flaunting this piece, and it will make you stand out in a crowd!
Care instructions are included with your item. Please keep in mind that wool couture items are strong but still can be damaged with overly rough treatment, so please don't use this necklace as a cat lasso or bungee cord. Trust me, this will not end well! *grin*
